The Heavy Duty J Rail picture hanging Gallery System is a very straight forward, no nonsense hanging track, designed for extremely heavy pictures! This system is used extensively in galleries and museums around the world, not only because of it's extreme weight capacities; but also because of the possible security fixtures and fittings available for it!

J Rail is made of a solid Aluminium and can take a weight of up to 80kg! (Where conditions permit). You install your rail by screwing it directly to your wall, then anchor transparent nylon or steel cables, and even Steel Hanging Rods from this "J" shaped track. These rods / cables can be attached to the rail at any point, and you can add as many as you like! It's recommended that for landscape or wide pictures, you use 2 rods / cables to help maintain their posture. To attach your pictures to this system, you simply slide picture hooks onto the rods / cables. These hooks are fully adjustable and never have to be removed to be adjusted, and lock themselves into place! With this versatility, it's also means you are not restricted to hanging just one picture. Depending on the overall weight, you can hang multiple pictures, one above the other, on just 2 rods / cables. This is ideal when you have limited wall space and also want to be more adventurous with your display! This kind of approach is extremely effective when hanging smaller pictures like photographs!

J Rail tracking comes in 2m & 3m lengths, and can be easily cut to size using a hacksaw. (Note: when cutting rail lengths, it's always recommended to do this during the actual installation!)

The J Rail system can carry loads of up to 80kg per meter, when installed on a solid wall, and used in conjunction with Picture Hanging Rods!
